I have to say that the pattern for today is one of my favorites. It is very simple, but I just love how it looks. This pattern has you YO, then knit 3 and pass the first knit stitch over the other two stitches. That's about it. You do that over and over, offsetting the three stitches.
As I knit the daily patterns for this scarf, I often think if I would/could use the pattern in something else. Today's pattern seems completely versatile. I brought the scarf to Sunday Knitting at Pantera's in Redmond, and Puzan really liked this pattern, too. She thought it would make a great cowl.
