Day 2 of 2014 Vogue Knitting Live: Seattle/Bellevue

Hello:

I don't have much to write about except to say, "WOW!"  We had a great day in the Eastside Knitters Guild Booth at Vogue Knitting Live: Seattle/Bellevue.

The Market opened at 10 am, and there was a steady stream of visitors to "Guild Row" in the back left corner of the Market.  Our booth is right between the Seattle Knitters Guild and the Snohomish Knitters Guild booths, caddy corner to Serial Knitters, and right across from Jimmy Beans Wool.

Some of the fun things I heard people saying included:

Wow, your area has 3 guilds!  We don't even have one.  (out of state people)

I have been looking for a guild on the Eastside.

I didn't know there was a guild on the Eastside.

We had so much interest, that we ran out of the Guild business cards mid day and JitteryKnitter and Wajio had to make a run to Kinko's to get more made.

We also ran out of the 100 copies of the Eastside Hat pattern, designed by our own VanesaPolo, that we were giving away free.

We even ran out of raffle tickets!  We have given away 3 baskets of donated knitting goodies so far, and today we will give away the last 2 baskets.

The market is open from 10 - 4 today,  I will be there about noon and stay to take down our booth.

O!  I also wanted to say that our display of Purple Hats has gotten a ton of attention, and people keep stopping just to photograph the hats. Kudos to JulieMustKnit who knit 6 of those hats.

 See you there.

Peace,
