Sunday Knitting

Hello:

I finally made it to a meet up today.  It was great to sit down to a couple of hours of knitting and knitting talk.  We met, as usual on Sunday mornings, at the Panera in Redmond. The special meeting room was reserved, so we sat at a long table in the main room.  We had a discussion about whether or not we should reserve the room, but we would need 10 people to reserve that room, and our numbers fluctuate.  The manager, Andy,  has been so nice to us, that we don't want to abuse his friendship.

Anyway, the table where we sat was nice and it had enough light for our projects.

Wajio is back at work on her Shur'tugal socks by Alice Yu.

She had a nice discussion of the anatomy of a sock with Stephzuel123.  Steph was working on a beautiful blanket, though I missed getting photos.

VanesaPolo brought a finished Flared Baby Jacket by Elizabeth Zimmerman.  Se dyed the yarn last summer with Kool-Aid.

She brought her swatch for the Ysolde Teague Mystery Shawl KAL.

Puzan is knitting a ... Cowl. Beautiful stitch pattern.
JitteryKnitter is knitting a new sweater.  She got the yarn, by Huckleberry Knits, at the Spin In last week.
Skeinherder brought a pair of socks
and the Tolt shawl that she ripped out last week.  She has cast it on again and has completed three whole rows!
It was wonderful to just hang out and knit with friends.

Peace,
f1bercat
shaping the planet with a finished Racing Raindrops
