It was so good to be back with the Eastside Stitchers Wed. Stitch Night. I brought the Graduation Afghan I am hooking together for Pookie. I have 3 rows now hooked together, 3 rows to go. It was a good project to bring, as I need to get it finished, but also that it is a fairly mindless job, so I was able to really enjoy the conversation.
Quite a few people brought baby projects.
VanesaPolo is making a baby sweater, but not for her expected baby. This one is for a friend's baby who is also due in October.
Vanesa also brought a new design. This is a baby hat.
Such a cute idea.
GwenS is on the sleeves of an Antler cardigan. She cast on the sleeves, 2 at a time, all by herself.
Since there is no longer any need for secrecy, some stitchers are bringing their baby shower gifts that weren't quite finished, and getting them done.
Tara1682 brought some really fun baby booties.
A few members brought baby blankets.
Colleen was working on this lacy blanket.
Hrvdmnky brought a granny square blanket. She is finding that crochet is more comfortable for her hands these days.
WireKnitter broke the mold by bringing her lovely Cameo shawl to work on.
Skeinherder was at Crossroads tonight, but she left before I got my act together enough to take photos.
It was a bit quiet, but full of lovely talk about yarn and patterns, and babies! I only missed one Wednesday, but it sure seemed longer.
Peace,
