Very Late Post for Fiber Friday

Hello:

I made it to the beginning of the foot pattern on the Sock Madness Round 4 socks at 10 am, then made a mistake on round 2 of the pattern, and when I tried to tink, I dropped some stitches, which since it was getting late, and I am using black yarn, I couldn't find.  Eventually, I separated the socks onto 2 circular needles ( I was 2-at-a-timing), and tinked back the one with the lost stitches about 5 rows, then had to catch up, put the socks back onto one circ, and knit a round.  Why am I using black yarn?

I want to quickly post about our Eastside Stitchers Fiber Friday meet up, then get to bed, as I must make some serious progress on these socks tomorrow.

Mary was knitting a Teddy Bear.  Here is the head:

VanessaPolo has made some progress on her Holden Shawl.

One bit of fun was that we had a new person stop to stitch.  Welcome Winterpromise31!  She was knitting a ruffled scarf in a very pretty purple yarn.  I know this looks blue, but my camera just doesn't like purple.

Skeinherder was knitting her newest socks.  The pattern is Slingback, and the yarn is Memories of Summer by Periwinkle Sheep.   Ok, Poor Skeinherder had to text me what these really are:  they are her fingerless mitts, Ghislane.  This is what happens when I wait until after midnight to post! 

And finally, Allifer brought her Star Afghan.  She is hooking it for a wedding gift for some friends who are getting married next weekend.  Luckily, she is almost finished.

MsWiz came later, and um... I was eating lunch and forgot to photograph her project.  Sorry!

We missed you CathieC and WireKnitter.  And most of all, we missed you, Redbird1.

Lots of chat about the upcoming North Sound LYS Crawl.  If you are interested in joining us, we have a thread on Ravelry with the plan.  There is most likely room in a car.  It will be exhausting but fun.
