Wednesday before NYC

Hello:
I'm posting quickly because I am leaving very early tomorrow morning for New York City to visit Moogie.

We had a really great group at Crossroads tonight.  I'm basically just going to show you who was there and what they were knitting.  You will miss out on the totally cute Addie who was there at the beginning (and left in a very happy mood with a new bucket and sand shovel).

We had a new Eastside Stitcher, Pamela2708 from the Eastside Knitters Guild joined us at the faux wooden tables.  She was knitting a Wingspan.

Dreamweaver19 brought a baby hat she knit for the upcoming Stitch N Pitch at the Mariners Game, and her baby blanket.  You can't really see them in this photo, but at the top where the purple and aqua come together, there is a row of little bobbles.  Really cute.

BlueBerryMary brought one of her soon to be Felted Bags.  She has also started another Knitted Knocker which you can just see at the top of the photo.

This is an action shot of Anya spinning with her homemade drop spindle.
These are some of her finished singles.

ReadnitDream brought a lace poncho, in Malabrigo (of course).

Wajio has started a baby hat.

DomesticShorthair is still swatching.  She will find the right needles and pattern and make a sweater from this yarn.  Or Else!
She brought her finished linen-stitch scarf.  This is not the best photo, but you can sort of see how pretty  both the front and back of the scarf are.

hairybikers has finished 2 of her cotton wash cloths, and started a third.
JitteryKnitter has started a new cowl.  Yes it is a cowl.  You begin it flat, then join in the round.

Puzan is knitting a 3 Color Cashmere Cowl.

And GwenS brought her almost finished OWL (she is a Ravenclaw, but I won't hold that against her), Exploration Station.

Ok, off to bed.
Peace,
