Hello:
Today was World Wide Knit in Public Day. I headed up to Lake Forest Park at the top of Lake Washington to the Third Place Commons where the Seattle Knitters Guild and the Eastside Knitters Guild jointly sponsored a Knit in Public Event.
The Commons is a bit like Crossroads with a variety of small food places, and lots of great tables where you can sit and knit.
One of the people at our table brought this cool foot pedal swift that she designed herself. She was busy deconstructing some thrift store sweaters for their yarn.
I sat with Wajio, and bound off the first pair of cabled socks for my OWL. It was a really fun event. I hope we team up with the Seattle Knitters Guild again.
Peace,
