Today I had 43% of my students missing. I am teaching a weird hybrid of in class and online learning. The at home students are emailing me asking how to do the work since they missed class. I need to either find time to record some videos or find Khan academy lectures to link to. I am doing the best that I can to keep teaching.

Living at the center of the covid-19 epidemic
This week my class attendance went from 10% absent on Monday to 40% on Friday. As far as I know, none are sick, and our district has 0 cases. What is the tipping point for closing school and going remote?

This morning, Starbucks wouldn't fill my personal mug. They gave me the personal mug discount, but my coffee in a Togo cup with a lid. The cup is recyclable but the lid is not.
